SeeSaw Labs ("SeeSaw Labs," "we," "us") is a software design and development consultancy based in Austin, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to seesawlabs.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
This policy covers our website only. Information we handle under a signed agreement with a client is governed by that agreement, not by this page.
We collect the information you choose to submit through the site. That includes your name, email address, company, and any message or project details you enter in our contact form; your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter; and your name, email address, and meeting preferences when you book time with us through our scheduling tool.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information through this website. That includes government identifiers, financial account numbers, health or medical information, and credentials of any kind. If a project requires exchanging sensitive information, we will set up an appropriate channel for it.
Like most websites, we automatically receive technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect some of this, as described below.

These third parties collect information under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block or delete them. We honor Global Privacy Control and other browser-level opt-out signals where we are required to do so.
Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed from any of our mailing lists.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. Our use of advertising and analytics cookies may qualify as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws, and you can opt out as described above.
We share information with service providers who help us run our business — including our website and email hosting providers, analytics and advertising platforms, our scheduling and calendar tools, and our customer relationship and email marketing tools. These providers may only use the information to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We keep inquiry and newsletter information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — typically for the duration of our business relationship and a reasonable period afterward — and then delete it or retain it only as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Where we rely on consent — for example, for marketing emails — you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, our legitimate interest in operating and marketing our business, or the steps necessary to enter into a contract with you. Information collected through this site is processed in the United States.
Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request a copy of it, to request its correction or deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@seesawlabs.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we may need to verify your identity before we act on a request. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
