Archway Health
Reducing Insurance Costs While Improving Care Through Data-Driven Self-Insurance
A ReactJS, GraphQL, and Java-based portal integrating EDI 835/837 data to help DCEs manage value-based contracts and reimbursement tracking.
We worked with Archway stakeholders to uncover the challenges DCEs face in managing value-based care contracts. Discovery revealed the need to simplify contract oversight, reconcile payments with CMS benchmarks, and give providers actionable insights.
Together, we defined the product vision and roadmap for an MVP portal app. We prioritized contract management, claims and payment reconciliation, and financial oversight as the most impactful features to support participating providers.
Our team designed an intuitive portal interface and technical architecture to handle complex financial data flows. UX prototypes focused on making payment reconciliation and performance tracking clear for administrators and providers.
We engineered the MVP portal using modern frameworks, implementing integrations with EDI 835 remittance and 837 claim files. Custom business rules enabled DCEs to reconcile payments, identify denials, and calculate shared savings against CMS benchmarks.
The portal launched successfully, providing Archway and its providers with a functioning, data-driven platform to manage contracts and oversee reimbursement performance. The solution delighted users by simplifying value-based care participation and powering financial oversight with real-world data.

Let's Get StartedSeeSaw Labs’ work exceeded all of my expectations. They’ve helped us think differently about what it means to define a product, to know what problems to solve, and to understand what a customer needs. When we get into actual development, the success metrics will be around time and budget. In terms of general project evaluation, SeeSaw Labs hit all of their milestones and deliverables on time and with high quality — that in and of itself is great.
We don’t have an internal product team, and SeeSaw has been able to think and innovate for something that started as imaginary. Their ability to put this imagination into a process and create a reality that can be touched has been amazing. Rather than taking orders, they suggest the best options from their perspective to ensure that the output adds value. Other companies do what we want and then come back and say it didn’t work. SeeSaw gives us advice that we choose to accept or set aside.
