Dako: Diagnostic Training Platform
A HIPAA-compliant LMS built for Agilent Technologies’ Dako division to train clinicians in diagnostic skills using real medical imagery.
Our Approach
1. Discover
We collaborated with Agilent Technologies and Dako stakeholders to uncover the challenges clinicians face in honing their diagnostic accuracy. Discovery revealed a need for a structured, interactive training solution that incorporated real-world imagery.
2. Define
We defined the product vision for a learning management system (LMS) that would combine Q&A-based training with medical imaging. The roadmap prioritized configurability, compliance, and practical application for clinicians.
3. Design
Our team designed a flexible training platform with intuitive interfaces for both administrators and clinicians. The UX emphasized usability, data security, and the ability to incorporate medical imagery seamlessly into the training workflow.
4. Develop
We engineered the LMS using PHP, JavaScript, Angular, and HTML5, ensuring HIPAA compliance for handling sensitive healthcare data. The system supported configurable learning paths, Q&A modules, and secure image integration.
5. Delight
The platform launched successfully, providing clinicians with a powerful tool to learn, practice, and improve diagnostic skills. The solution delighted stakeholders by improving training effectiveness and supporting better patient outcomes through accurate diagnoses.
