1. Discover
We explored how Intersection could bring dynamic, real-time content to New York’s LinkNYC kiosks. Discovery revealed opportunities in out-of-home advertising that reacted to live data feeds.
2. Define
We defined integrations with APIs for weather, sports, train delays, and location data to drive real-time ad content. The roadmap emphasized scalability and automation.
3. Design
We designed workflows for data-driven ad delivery, enabling advertisers to deliver contextually relevant creative to users.
4. Develop
We developed the system using React, Clojure, AWS Lambda, AngularJS, and REST services, powering dynamic advertising across 600+ kiosks.
5. Delight
The platform delighted advertisers and users. A campaign for StreetEasy won an Obie Award, while ongoing work with Google integrated programmatic ad capabilities.
