OddsTrader: Powering Real-Time Sports Betting Decisions with a One-Stop Digital Platform

Our Approach
1. Discover
We researched the needs of sports bettors in the newly deregulated U.S. market. Discovery focused on the demand for real-time, mobile-optimized odds information for in-the-moment decisions.
2. Define
We defined a roadmap for a mobile-first MVP delivering live odds, handicapping tools, and easy access to betting information. Speed to market was prioritized to capture first-mover advantage.
3. Design
Our design process mapped bettor personas, user journeys, and wireframes, then refined them into high-fidelity UI with SlideUX. Focus was placed on clarity and speed of information delivery.
4. Develop
We developed a mobile-optimized web app using React, JavaScript, and Firebase, later expanding toward native mobile. Agile sprints allowed rapid delivery against aggressive timelines.
5. Delight
The platform launched successfully and received strong user adoption. Ongoing feedback shaped iterations, with enhanced odds features and personalization delighting users.
